Rimonabant is a selective CB1 endocannabinoid receptor antagonist manufactured by the Sanofi-Avensis company and intended for the treatment of obesity (excessive body mass dangerous for health). Side effects (nausea and vomiting) are generally short-lived and go away soon. If these side effects change in intensity, get worse, or you have some new symptoms not mentioned in the medication guide it’s recommended to report them to your health care provider.
